About
I am an Assistant Professor in political science and the director of the LIRIC (an interdisciplinary Lab studying risks and crises) at the University of Sherbrooke. I served as a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Sahel Research Group (SRG) at the University of Florida. I completed my PhD in Political Science at the University of Ottawa in 2019.
My research focuses on political violence and political mobilization in the Sahel and North Africa, with a focus on Tuareg political elites in Mali, Niger and Algeria. I have published several peer-reviewed articles and chapters in edited volumes in French and in English.
Advocating for applied social sciences, I teach political risk analysis and more globally how to be a consultant in international relations. I am a consultant in conflict analysis, conflict resolution and in countering disinformation using narratives approaches.
I am also Research Fellow with the SRG at the University of Florida, the Centre FrancoPaix of the Chaire Raoul-Dandurand for diplomatic and strategic studies at the University of Québec in Montréal (UQAM) and the Centre d’études et de recherches internationales (CÉRIUM) at the University of Montreal (UdeM).
